Dannielle's Home-Based Education & Care Service is licensed with an approved service.  Child Care Subsidy approved. We are fully Insured, certified & have over 18 years of experience in long daycare & family daycare. We provide child care from as early as 6 weeks up to 12 years of age. We are compliant with state law & regulations. Dannielle's Home-Based Education & Care Service offers a safe, nurturing environment where your child will get individual care & education. Our ratio of children to adults is always within the NSW legislative guidelines so that each child receives quality child care & Education at all times.

Dannielle's Home-Based Education & Care Service strives to exceed the National Quality Standards. Current research confirms the importance of strong relationships with significant adults to a child’s early learning; family day care’s small group environment facilitates strong bonds and promotes effective early learning and social development.

At Dannielle’s Education & Care Service we like to offer a prepared environment where each child can access educational experiences at different times throughout the day. This allows for flexibility in our routine. We have a dedicated learning environment both inside and outside which is exclusively used for daycare which also allows for supervision of children both indoors & outdoors simultaneously. Throughout the day we look at each child’s interests and plan our curriculum & learning experiences around these to continue to keep each child engaged in the love of learning. When educating & caring for a mixed age group we find it is very important to provide this as it helps to encourage each child to learn around what they are truly interested in.

At Dannielle's Home-Based Education & Care Service your child will participate in developmentally-appropriate activities throughout the day, such as:

Story Time

Show and Tell

Our Educational Program

A daily program is available at the service. Families will receive photos and observations frequently and be invited to participate in our program. Parents can ask to have copies of these at any time. To help our service to reduce paper usage and to support sustainable living these will be emailed where possible. A closed Facebook page is available to families enrolled each year where photos and communication about the day can be viewed. This may include photos & videos so that each parent can see our program in action.

Our program has a strong outdoor play program where children are encouraged to explore, dig, build and create! Our environment allows for flexibility with an indoor/outdoor joined space where children can explore in either environment throughout the day. Our program also encourages excursions to local parks, schools, and playgroups where children have the opportunities to make connections with their world and the community.

Our service is Montessori inspired!

Our Montessori inspired activities promote independence, prepare little fingers for writing,  appeal to the senses and most importantly are specifically geared towards the whole child and their developmental interests.

For a successful learning environment, we regularly observe the child for interests and changes. It is key that this takes place so that we can document the child's developmental readiness.

“The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences.” Maria Montessori

We welcome ideas for incursions and excursions at any time from families.
