WHAT DO I NEED TO BECOME AN EDUCATOR?

Passionate about working with young children.

Interested in operating your own business from home

Can provide a warm, secure and family-focused environment for children that complies with legislative safety requirements

Understanding and experience working with children (ages 0 to 12 years)

Have a minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification

Have or willing to obtain current First Aid Certificate, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management

You (and any persons over 18 living in your home) are willing to undergo a National Criminal History Check and/or Working With Children Check

Are 18 years or over

Our educators operate their Family Day Care business in their own home with the support of Coordination Unit staff. Educators program and plan for children to support them to learn, grow and discover in a safe and secure environment.
The Family Day Care business model offers educators the opportunity to work from home, on the days and times that suit you and your family.
